ASCO RSS02 is a reed switch (AC/DC normally open) with flying leads, designed for fast, contactless sensing in automation and control circuits. Encased in a polyamide housing with a polyamide sensing face and a PVC cable connection, the RSS02 includes LED status indication to confirm activation. It operates in ambient temperatures from -20 to 80 C, switches at up to 0.5 kHz, with turn-on times of ≤ 0.25 ms and turn-off times of 0.03 ms. Weighing about 0.20 lb, this compact switch is suitable for inline sensing applications where magnetic actuation is employed.
