Appleton EYSEF150AL is a 1-1/2 inch aluminum sealing fitting from the EY Series that seals between IMC or threaded rigid conduit sections to prevent the passage of gases, vapors, or flames from one portion of a conduit system to another, enabling safer, tighter junctions in hazardous environments. Constructed from Almag 35 aluminum and epoxy powder-coated for durability, the EYSEF150AL is designed for vertical or horizontal installations and provides a raintight, explosion-proof, and dust-ignitionproof seal that supports hazardous-location applications. It accepts 1-1/2 inch trade-size conduits and features FNPT x MNPT ends, with an overall length of about 6-1/4 inches, delivering a close turning radius for tight conduit runs. Use with IMC or threaded rigid metallic conduit to create compliant, safe terminations in electrical installations where preventing flame or spark transfer is critical.
