Appleton EXLK-112 explosion-proof flexible conduit coupling for RMC/IMC, 1/2 in trade size and 12 in long, is a brass/bronze, plain-finish union-style fitting that joins two threaded ends of rigid conduit while absorbing motion and thermal expansion and preserving ground continuity. One end features a union; the other end is a female fitting with a removable male nipple, enabling straightforward connection to a second conduit section in tight or misaligned runs. With a 1.410 in outer diameter, the 12-inch length provides a substantial flex span for accommodating vibration and movement in hazardous-location installations. It is rated as dust-ignitionproof and explosionproof, suitable for Class I Division 1 (Groups A–D), Class II Division 1 (Groups E–G), and Class III environments, and carries UL 1203 and UL 886 listings, along with CSA and ATEX certifications.
