Antunes Controls JD-2 Pressure Switch

The Antunes JD-2 Air Pressure Switch is a compact, die-cast aluminum interlock switch built into a rugged housing, designed to deliver a reliable, adjustable air-pressure setpoint for combustion-safeguard systems and other industrial airflow controls. Inside, a sensitive diaphragm drives a SPDT snap-action electrical switch with a clearly visible ON-OFF indicator, and the unit offers five color-coded ranges to match different pressure needs: blue 0.07–1.7 in. W.C.; grey 0.1–4 in. W.C.; purple 0.1–10 in. W.C.; red 0.1–24 in. W.C.; orange 5–35 in. W.C. The specifications include a maximum operating pressure of 35 in. W.C., a pressure surge tolerance of 3 PSIG, and an operating ambient temperature range from -20°F to 140°F (-28°C to 60°C); the device is typically mounted stem-up to ensure correct sensing. Originally produced by Antunes Controls and now associated with Crossroads Controls, the JD-2 family is used to interlock exhaust fans or blowers and to provide gas-pressure switching in combustion applications.
