Animatics SM2315D-DE Smart Motor Integrated Servo System

The Animatics SM2315D-DE Smart Motor Integrated Servo System is a NEMA 23‑sized brushless servo motor with an integral drive, controller, encoder, and multi‑port I/O in a single compact package. It provides 1.0–5.0 Nm of continuous torque, along with onboard programmable motion control and RS‑232/RS‑485 serial communication to support standalone operation or networked control across multiple motors. The -DE option adds an external control power input (20 V to 48 V DC); pin 15 is the control power input and pin 14 is PWR GND, enabling separate power for the control electronics while retaining full integration. Leveraging Animatics' Combitronic CAN‑based technology, it can coexist on networks with CANopen or DeviceNet and supports AniLink data and clock signaling for synchronized, multi‑axis configurations.
