Description:

Anderson-Negele NVS-141 is a hygienic, single-rod conductive point level sensor with integrated electronics designed for reliable full/empty detection of aqueous, conductive media in metal pipes (DN15) and vessels, featuring a CLEANadapt G1/2" process connection and a 55 mm sensor head. The electrodes can be shortened and individually twisted to suit installation, and the sensor is built for CIP/SIP cleaning up to 143°C for up to 120 minutes. With a process temperature range of 0 °C to 140 °C and an ambient range of -10 °C to 60 °C, it accommodates demanding production environments; minimum conductivity is 1 µS. The housing is 1.4301 stainless steel (AISI 304), the rod 1.4404 stainless steel (AISI 316L), with a PEEK insulating part and PFA coating for chemical compatibility. Electrical connection uses an operating voltage of 18–36, and the device employs a PNP output, with the NVS family providing the sensor’s interface. Process connections under CLEANadapt include common hygienic options such as Tri-Clamp, DIN 11851 milk tube, and Varivent. The NVS-141 is intended for the food, beverage and dairy industries and supports applications including full/empty detection in vessels and pipes, product monitoring in pipelines, pump protection and dry-run prevention, level control in tanks, and overfill protection in dosing systems.
