Analog Devices 5B47-B-11 Isolated Linearized "B" Input is a plug-in thermocouple input conditioning module from the 5B47 family that accepts B-type thermocouple signals and provides a linearized, high-level 0–5 V output with galvanic isolation to the host system. The module delivers up to 1500 V rms isolation between input and output, employs transformer-based isolation, and includes internal cold-junction compensation and open-thermocouple detection to maintain accuracy across the sensor range. Hard-potted, identical in pinout and size (2.25" x 2.25" x 0.60"), these modules are designed for use with 5B backplanes and compact signal-conditioning solutions in industrial environments. Specifically engineered for B-type thermocouples, it covers high-temperature measurements from about 500°C to 1800°C (932°F to 3272°F), converting the sensed temperature into a standard 0–5 V signal that can be read by data acquisition systems or process controllers.
