Allen-Bradley 1756-IB32 32 Point Digital Input Module

Allen-Bradley 1756-IB32 is a ControlLogix 32-point digital input module that accepts DC signals in the 10 to 31.2 V range and provides 32 inputs across two 16-point groups, wired through removable terminal blocks such as the 1756-TBCH or 1756-TBS6H. Each input draws an on-state current of approximately 4.8–5.5 mA depending on supply voltage, with an inrush capability up to 250 mA, and the module interfaces with the backplane using typical currents around 120 mA at 5.1 V and 2 mA at 24 V. The 32 inputs are isolated from the backplane with continuous isolation rated at 250 V, and the wiring block uses a 36-pin connector scheme. Software- and hardware-timed performance includes configurable input delays (Off-to-On: 0/1/2 ms; On-to-Off: 0/1/2/9/18 ms) with hardware delays up to about 380 µs (Off-to-On) and 420 µs (On-to-Off), plus timestamping on input state changes and change-of-state diagnostics, with typical maximum power dissipation around 6.2 W at elevated temperatures.
