Allen-Bradley APL-210N Valve Position Indicator

APL-210N Valve Position Indicator is a field-mounted limit switch box that provides both visual and electrical indication of valve open and closed positions in automated valve systems. It mounts directly to quarter-turn actuators using NAMUR VDI/VDE 3845 and ISO 5211 standards and features a 3D visual beacon that shows Closed in Red and Open in Yellow; the indicator rotates 0° to 90° to reflect valve position. The enclosure is die-cast aluminum rated IP67 / NEMA 4X, built for harsh industrial environments, and it uses two SPDT mechanical switches for position feedback with eight terminal connections (0.08–2.5 mm²). Cable entries are 2 × NPT 1/2" or G1/2". The shaft material is stainless steel and the unit is black polyester powder coated for durability. Operating temperature range is -20°C to +80°C. Optional features include proximity sensors, 4-20 mA feedback, and a 1 kΩ potentiometer for integrated signal conditioning. Common applications span water treatment, chemical processing, oil and gas systems, food and beverage plants, and factory automation where pneumatic actuated valves require local and remote position indication.
