Allen-Bradley 5094-MB Mounting Base For FLEX 5000 Module

The Allen-Bradley 5094-MB mounting base is the DIN-rail foundation for FLEX 5000 I/O, mounting directly to standard DIN rails in control cabinets and serving as the mechanical and electrical base for FLEX 5000 terminal base assemblies. A FLEX 5000 terminal base assembly consists of the mounting base plus a removable terminal block (RTB); the MB is sold separately from the I/O module, and you must pair it with an RTB such as 5094-RTB3 to complete the base assembly for a given FLEX 5000 module. The 5094-MB, with the 5094-MBXT variant, enables backplane communication and field power-bus distribution across adjacent FLEX 5000 I/O modules when mounted on a DIN rail. For installation, use a standard steel DIN rail—EN60715 35 × 7.5 mm—and compatible rails such as Allen-Bradley 199-DR1 or 46277-3; installation instructions also describe shield bars and end anchoring in FLEX 5000 DIN-rail environments.
