Allen-Bradley 5094-IB32 32-Point 24VDC Input Module

The Allen-Bradley 5094-IB32 is a FLEX 5000 digital input module that provides 32 sinking 24 VDC inputs for Flex I/O networks. Designed for the FLEX 5000 I/O system, it mounts on the FLEX backplane to monitor field devices such as pushbuttons, limit switches, and other 24 VDC sensors. The module accepts a 10–32 V DC power input and delivers sensing across 32 channels, with an on-state current of about 2.4 mA per channel (maximum ~2.6 mA at 32 V) and a nominal input impedance of 10 kΩ at 24 V. It includes overvoltage protection up to 36 V and reverse-polarity protection to guard against mis-wiring. The 5094-IB32 supports per-input diagnostics and LEDs for quick status checks, and it can participate in CIP Sync or Precision Time Protocol (PTP) timing within a FLEX 5000 network, with input timestamps accurate to ±200 µs.
