The Allen-Bradley 5069-FPD Compact I/O Field Potential Distributor is a Compact 5000 I/O module that provides an additional field-side power bus within a 5069 Compact I/O system, enabling more efficient power distribution to I/O modules. It functions by interrupting the field-side current on the left field power bus and establishing a separate field power distribution path to feed downstream modules, effectively isolating power domains and simplifying wiring in compact installations.
