The Allen-Bradley 45LMS-U8LGC3-D4 Laser Measurement Sensor is a retroreflective, non‑contact distance sensor that measures from 0.2 to 50 meters using a 660 nm visible red laser. It provides one discrete NPN/PNP output and one 4–20 mA analog output, with IO-Link 1.0 support for configuration and diagnostics, all mounted via a Micro QD (DC) connector. Operating on 10–30 V DC (18–30 V DC when IO-Link is active), the unit carries IP65 enclosure protection and a Class 2 laser rating, with a typical response time around 10 ms. The 0.2–50 m range is well suited for long-range retroreflective applications where a reflector is placed opposite the sensor.
