Allen-Bradley 440R-E23193 MSR132ED Minotaur Expansion Unit adds four normally open delayed safety outputs and two normally closed auxiliary outputs to a compatible Guardmaster Minotaur base (MSR41/MSR42), expanding safety control across machinery. Powered from 24 V AC/DC, the module mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail and is 22.5 mm wide. The four safety outputs are rated up to 6 A at 250 V AC or 3 A at 24 V DC, with external fuses of 6 A slow-blow or 10 A quick-blow supported; contact material is AgSnO2 with a 0.5 µm gold alloy, and the unit features a 2500 V impulse withstand with IP40 enclosure protection. Operating temperature is -5 to 55 °C and up to 90% relative humidity, with copper conductors 0.2–2.5 mm2 and terminal screws torque 0.6–0.8 N·m. The ED variant provides a fixed 1-second delay per output and mirrors the host safety outputs, enabling reliable expansion of safety circuits for devices such as emergency stops, safety gates, and light curtains; the expansion mirrors the base state through a monitored feedback loop to maintain safety integrity. Typical power draw is around 3 W, and the module is designed for use alongside MSR safety bases to achieve additional channels without compromising safety in industrial automation.
