Allen-Bradley 440E-A13082 Lifeline Rope Tensioner System Installation Kit is a 20 m (65.6 ft) lifeline rope tensioning package designed for Guardmaster 440E lifeline systems, enabling quick and reliable cable actuation in safety setups. The kit includes the Lifeline Rope Tensioner, two grippers, 10 bolts, an Allen wrench, and related hardware to complete installation, delivering a ready-to-assemble LRTS for field use. The tensioner body is molded in glass-filled nylon, while the cable grippers are built from Acetal, aluminum alloy, and stainless steel, with stainless steel gears, and it uses a 4 mm diameter wire rope. Maximum tensioner adjustment is 300 mm, with tensioner holding force up to 500 N and each gripper holding up to 280 N, all protected to IP 30. The assembly is rated for an operating temperature range from -25°C to +80°C and provides a 20 m lifeline length to suit typical overhead runs and obstacle-free installations in industrial environments. Used as part of Guardmaster safety rope switch systems, this LRTS kit supports faster, more consistent rope tensioning for dependable lifeline performance in machine guarding and safety pull-switch applications.
