Allen-Bradley 42QA-G5LE-A2 Photoelectric Sensor

Allen-Bradley 42QA-G5LE-A2 is a ColorSight 9000 self-teach color-recognition photoelectric sensor designed for color-based sorting and process control in automated systems. It operates from 10 to 30 V DC with a typical current draw of about 50 mA and offers a 27 mm sensing distance when used with the standard AB fiber optic cable 60-2694. The device provides a programmable output (PNP or NPN) up to 100 mA at 30 V DC and features a fast response time of 1.3–10 ms with a maximum off-state leakage of 10 µA. It uses tri-color RGB emission (red, green, blue) to discriminate target colors and supports auto-teach of the reference color, which can also be activated remotely via PLC or operator terminal. The ColorSight sensor body is rated for general automation environments with a NEMA 4/IP54-enclosed electronics and IP40 optics, and it ships with a 2 m, 300 V-rated cable. Reference: 42QA-G5LE-A2.
