Allen-Bradley 42GNU-9220-QD SmartSight Photo Sensor (Series 9000) is a polarized retroreflective photoelectric sensor designed for inline object detection on manufacturing and packaging lines. It operates on 11–25 V DC, communicates over DeviceNet, and features a 4.87 m (16 ft) sensing range with a 5-pin mini Quick-Disconnect (QD) connector for quick field wiring. As part of the discontinued SmartSight 9000 family, Rockwell Automation notes that the product was retired as of December 31, 2018, with replacement paths recommended through lifecycle documentation.
