Allen-Bradley 22-COMM-E Ethernet/IP Interface Module

The Allen-Bradley 22-COMM-E EtherNet/IP Interface Module is a PowerFlex Ethernet/IP adapter that plugs into the drive’s Drive Peripheral Interface (DPI) port to provide native EtherNet/IP connectivity, enabling Ethernet/IP data exchange between a PowerFlex drive and a PLC or other EtherNet/IP hosts, while remaining a compact, drive-mounted option that minimizes wiring and panel space. Specifically designed for PowerFlex 40 drives and other DPI-host PowerFlex configurations, the 22-COMM-E supports CIP communications to read and write drive parameters, report status, and transfer drive data over an Ethernet/IP network, facilitating centralized monitoring and control across Rockwell Automation ecosystems and enabling integration with third-party EtherNet/IP devices that participate in the CIP network.
