Allen-Bradley 22-COMM-D DeviceNet DSI Adapter

The Allen-Bradley 22-COMM-D DeviceNet Adapter is a DeviceNet communications option designed for installation into a PowerFlex 40 drive, enabling DeviceNet connectivity through the PF40’s Drive System Interface (DSI). As the 22-COMM-D model, it mounts in the PF40’s internal DSI slot and acts as the bridge between a DeviceNet network and the drive’s internal control data, allowing DeviceNet devices such as sensors, actuators, and remote I/O blocks to exchange information with the PowerFlex 40. This adapter is part of Rockwell Automation’s PowerFlex 40 family and is specifically described as a DeviceNet adapter for DSI-host configurations, using the DSI connector to integrate with the drive’s network topology.
