Description:

The Allen-Bradley 2097-V31PR0 Kinetix 300 EtherNet/IP Indexing Servo Drive is a compact 1-axis servo drive that accepts a 120/240 VAC single‑phase supply and delivers up to 0.40 kW of servo power to MP‑Series low‑inertia motors, MP/TL‑Series electric cylinders, and TL‑Series motors for precise positioning tasks. It operates on 120/240 V input (48–62 Hz) with 120 V doubler mode and does not include an integrated line filter; EtherNet/IP provides the control networking for indexing applications. The drive offers continuous output current of 2.0 A (rms) with a 0‑pk rating of 2.8 A, and peak output current up to 6.0 A (rms) or 8.5 A (0‑pk), supporting a rated power of 0.40 kW. Digital I/O comprises 11 inputs (Enable, Over Travel, Registration, plus 8 assignable) and 5 outputs (Ready plus 4 assignable), while analog I/O includes a 12‑bit ±10 V input (single‑ended or differential) and a 10‑bit ±10 V output. A Safe Torque Off (STO) safety function is included, conforming to ISO 13849-1 safety Category 3 / Performance Level d. This model is part of the Kinetix 300 family designed for EtherNet/IP indexing, with installation guidance that covers connection data, power requirements, and motor compatibility. Note that Rockwell Automation announced the Kinetix 300 servo drives, including 2097‑V31PR0, were discontinued effective July 31, 2024.
