Allen-Bradley 20-COMM-M Communication Adapter

Allen-Bradley 20-COMM-M Modbus/TCP Adapter provides Modbus TCP to DPI communications for PowerFlex 7-Class drives, enabling Ethernet-based control and monitoring of DPI-enabled PowerFlex controllers. Designed for installation in PowerFlex 7-Class drives (excluding PowerFlex 700S) and used with the DPI External Comms Kit (20-XCOMM-DC-BASE), the adapter connects to a PLC over standard CAT-5 Ethernet with 100Base-TX connectivity. It supports Modbus/TCP data exchange to the DPI interface and offers datalinks functionality, including 16-bit datalinks to read/write 32-bit drive parameters. This combination supports mapping drive commands and status words to the PLC for reliable drive integration.
