Allen-Bradley 1794-OW8 FLEX I-O Digital Output Module

The Allen-Bradley 1794-OW8 FLEX I/O Relay Output Module provides eight isolated Form A (normally open) relay contacts for distributing control of loads in a FLEX I/O system, capable of switching up to 2 A at up to 230 V AC or 125 V DC per channel. It operates from a 24 V DC FLEX bus with an external supply range of 19.2–31.2 V DC and draws about 125 mA on the backplane, while the FLEX bus interface itself uses roughly 35 mA at 5 V DC; the module dissipates about 5.5 W. Each output is isolated from the others and from the backplane, with an off-state leakage current limited to about 1.0 mA at 240 V AC (through the snubber circuit), enabling snubber-friendly operation with a range of inductive and resistive loads. This eight-channel module is suited for applications such as energizing solenoids, relays, or other automation actuators in distributed control panels and is designed to work within a compatible 1794 Flex I/O adapter/terminal base ecosystem.
