Allen-Bradley 1794-OE4 4-Channel Analog Output Module
Allen-Bradley 1794-OE4 4-Channel Analog Output Module
Description:
Allen‑Bradley 1794‑OE4 is a FLEX I/O four‑channel analog output module that provides four single‑ended outputs for configuring current or voltage signals in a remote I/O network. Each channel can be independently configured for 4–20 mA or 0–20 mA, or for voltage outputs in the 0–10 V or +10 V range, delivering a 12‑bit + sign resolution with a left‑justified 16‑bit data format. The module uses PWM output conversion with a per‑channel conversion rate of 1.024 ms and a voltage‑output step response of about 24 ms to 63% of full scale. Voltage outputs can source up to 3 mA, while current outputs drive loads of 15–750 Ω at 24 V. Physical dimensions are approximately 46 x 94 x 53 mm, and it dissipates up to 4.5 W (typical at 31.2 V DC); operating temperature ranges from −20 to +55 °C. Isolation between I/O and the controller is 50 V continuous, with no isolation between individual channels. The 1794‑OE4 mounts on FLEX bases such as 1794‑TB2, TB3, TB3S, TB3T, TB3TS, or 1794‑TBN. This module is designed for FLEX I/O networks where precise, configurable analog outputs are required to drive industrial actuators, valves, or other analog loads.
