Allen-Bradley 1794-OB16PXT Flex I/O Output Module

Allen-Bradley 1794-OB16PXT Flex I/O-XT is a 16-point, 24 V DC digital output module for FLEX I/O-XT distributed I/O systems. It provides sixteen source-type outputs, each capable of delivering up to 500 mA (8 A per module total), designed to drive relays, solenoids, and other 24 V loads from an external power supply in a FLEX I/O backplane. It operates on 10–31.2 V DC (5% ripple) with an off-to-on delay of up to 0.5 ms and an on-to-off delay up to 1.0 ms, and supports a surge current of up to 1.5 A for 50 ms (repeatable every 2 seconds). The on-state voltage drop is limited to 0.5 V, and the minimum on-state current per channel is 1 mA, with reported maximum power dissipation of 5.0 W at 31.2 V DC (17.0 BTU/hr). The XT designation provides extended temperature operation, typically from -20 to +70 C, enabling use in harsher environments; the OB16PXT is designed for use with FLEX I/O base units such as 1794-TB2 or 1794-TB3S/TB3K and wires into the FLEX I/O backplane.
