Allen-Bradley 1794-OB16 16-Point Digital Output Module Flex I/O

The Allen-Bradley 1794-OB16 16-Point Digital Output Module for FLEX I/O provides discrete DC output control in FLEX I/O distributed automation systems, enabling reliable switching for field devices across manufacturing equipment, packaging lines, conveyors, and process control setups. It delivers 16 nominal 24 VDC outputs (range 10.2–31.2 VDC) that source up to 0.5 A per channel (8 A total), with an on-state drop of ≤0.5 V and off-state leakage up to 1 mA. The module draws 80 mA from the backplane at 5 V and is isolated to 850 VDC tested, supporting safe operation in industrial environments. Mount it on a DIN rail using FLEX I/O terminal bases and use compatible bases 1794-TB3, 1794-TB3S, or 1794-TBNF. Operating temperature is 0°C to 55°C. Typical applications include controlling solenoids, relays, motor starters, contactors, pilot lights, alarms, and other DC-operated field devices within packaging equipment, conveyors, assembly machinery, and process automation networks.
