Allen-Bradley 1794-IA8 FLEX 8-Point Digital Input Module expands FLEX I/O networks with eight 24V DC input channels. It supports sinking or sourcing inputs (application dependent), provides optical isolation between logic and field circuits, and can be mounted on a DIN rail or a chassis (system dependent). Compatible with FLEX I/O links to MicroLogix, CompactLogix, and other Rockwell PLCs, it is suited for conveyors, packaging machinery, material handling, process control panels, and manufacturing lines that monitor limit switches and pushbuttons.
