Allen-Bradley 1794-IA16 FLEX I/O Input Module

The Allen-Bradley 1794-IA16 FLEX I/O Input Module is a 16-point digital input block for FLEX I/O systems that accepts standard 120V AC signals from field devices. It uses nonisolated inputs with a common return and supports an on-state voltage range of 74 V AC to 132 V AC, typically drawing 5.5 mA at 74 V and up to about 12 mA at the higher end, with an input impedance around 10 kΩ. The module measures roughly 94 mm H x 94 mm W x 69 mm D when installed and mounts in a FLEX I/O base as part of a scalable distributed I/O solution, compatible with the FLEX I/O bus and Rockwell Automation base units. It’s designed for 50/60 Hz mains and is commonly used to read 120V AC sensors, switches, and other devices across manufacturing lines, packaging equipment, and industrial control panels where a 16-channel AC input interface is required.
