Allen-Bradley 1784-PKTX PCI Bus Interface Card

Allen-Bradley 1784-PKTX PCI Bus Interface Card is a single-channel PCI-based network interface that enables a Windows PC to communicate with legacy DH+ (Data Highway Plus), DH-485, and Remote I/O (RIO) networks used by PLC-5 and SLC 500 controllers. The card provides two on-board ports: CH 1A with a 3-pin Phoenix connector for DH+ and Remote I/O, and CH 1C with a 6-pin Phoenix connector for DH-485, with a diagnostic LED for each channel to aid fault finding, and it must be installed in a PCI bus slot. For software support, it uses PKTx-era drivers such as RSLinx PKTx to establish PC-to-field communications, and it is commonly wired using Allen-Bradley 1771-WN wiring solutions to simplify terminations to DH+, DH-485, or RIO cables.
