Allen-Bradley 1783-HMS4C4CGN Managed EtherNet Switch

Allen-Bradley 1783-HMS4C4CGN is an 8-port Stratix 5400 Industrial Ethernet Managed Switch engineered for rugged factory-floor networks. This non-PoE variant provides eight managed Ethernet ports for reliable device-to-device communication within Rockwell Automation’s EtherNet/IP ecosystem and supports network monitoring and remote management as part of the Stratix 5400 family. It operates from a DC power supply in the 12–54 V range and can draw up to 4.3 A, with a typical power consumption of about 40 W at 24 V DC and 40 °C ambient. An onboard alarm relay is rated at 1 A at 30 V DC (or 0.5 A at 48 V DC) for fault signaling to external controllers or alarms. The unit features 60 V isolation between ports and provides wiring guidelines using 4 mm2 (ground) and 0.52–0.82 mm2 (18–20 AWG) conductors for power connections. PoE power input is not supported on this model, so external power delivery is required for connected devices.
