Allen-Bradley 1771-P7

The Allen-Bradley 1771-P7 is a stand-alone PLC-5 power supply module that powers a 1771 I/O chassis, such as 1771-A1B, -A2B, -A3B, -A3B1, or -A4B, when used with an appropriate adapter or PLC-5 processor that does not have an internal power supply. It accepts a dual-range AC input of 97–132 VAC or 195–264 VAC at 47–63 Hz and delivers 108 W of real power to the backplane, with a maximum apparent input power of 176 VA and a transformer load rating up to 270 VA, providing a robust feed for the backplane’s 5 V DC distribution (16 A backplane output current). The unit is protected by a 3 A, 250 V normal-blow fuse and measures 4.5 × 12.4 × 6.3 inches (115 × 317 × 160 mm), designed for stand-alone installation in PLC-5 systems. Cabling included with the 1771-P7 comprises 1771-CP1 Local and 1771-CP2/CP3 Remote cables (5 ft each), enabling straightforward local or remote I/O rack connections and configuration.
