Allen-Bradley 1771-OFE2 Output Module

The Allen-Bradley 1771-OFE2 is a four-channel analog output module for the PLC-5 1771 I/O family, delivering 4–20 mA control currents on each channel to drive external actuators and process equipment. It is designed to mount in a 1771 I/O chassis and is compatible with universal chassis such as 1771-A1B, 1771-A2B, 1771-A3B, and 1771-A4B. The 1771-OFE2 is the Series B revision in the analog output family, with the 1771-OFE1 voltage-output variant and other revisions in the same line. Rockwell Automation discontinued the 1771-OFE2 as of March 4, 2021, and it is no longer offered new by the manufacturer. These 4–20 mA outputs are used to form analog control loops for actuators, valves, and instrumentation in PLC-5-based systems.
