Allen-Bradley 1771-OFE2 is a four-channel analog output module for PLC-5 1771 I/O backplanes that provides isolated 4-20 mA current outputs to drive process actuators and control valves. Each of the four outputs is isolated from the backplane and from other channels, and the module draws power from the 1771 I/O backplane when installed in a compatible 1771 Universal I/O chassis such as 1771-A1B, 1771-A2B, 1771-A3B, or 1771-A4B. It is designed for PLC-5 environments requiring reliable current-loop control and is no longer sold by Rockwell Automation, with discontinuation listed as of March 4, 2021.
