Allen-Bradley 1771-OFE2 Analog Output Module

Allen-Bradley 1771-OFE2 Analog Output Module is a four-channel current-output I/O module for PLC-5 systems that converts digital control signals into a continuous 4-20 mA analog signal to drive external actuators. Each of the four outputs is isolated and differential, with an isolation rating up to 1000 V, enabling rugged signaling in electrically noisy environments. The 1771-OFE2 is a current-output version with factory-set 4-20 mA ranges per channel and requires an external power supply to drive the analog loop, as it does not provide loop power to transmitters or other loop-powered devices. It can be installed in any Allen-Bradley Universal I/O chassis (1771-A1B, 1771-A2B, 1771-A3B, or 1771-A4B); Rockwell has discontinued this module as of March 4, 2021, which may affect availability.
