Allen-Bradley 1771-OFE1 Analog Output Module

The Allen-Bradley 1771-OFE1 Analog Output Module delivers four independently isolated analog voltage outputs for PLC-5 I/O chassis, converting digital signals into precise analog voltages for process control and automation environments. As part of the 1771 PLC-5 I/O family, it supports output ranges of ±10 VDC, 0–10 VDC, and 1–5 VDC with 12-bit resolution for fine control, and is commonly used to drive variable frequency drives (VFDs), control valves, and actuators in manufacturing and process facilities. Each channel is isolated up to 1000 V differential to enhance noise immunity in harsh industrial environments. Conversion time is approximately 0.8 ms, with a backplane current of about 1.5 A and power dissipation around 7.9 W. It installs in a single slot within a 1771 I/O chassis and uses the 1771-WH wiring arm for mounting. Certifications include ATEX and CE. This module is discontinued as of March 2021, with common replacements including 1771-OFE2, 1756-OF4 (ControlLogix), and 1769-OF4 (CompactLogix).
