Allen-Bradley 1771-OFE1 Analog Output Module PLC-5

The Allen-Bradley 1771-OFE1 Analog Output Module provides four isolated analog voltage outputs for PLC-5 I/O chassis, enabling precise control of field devices in process, manufacturing, and automation environments. Each of the four channels supports voltage outputs in 0–10 V, 1–5 V, or ±10 V ranges with 12-bit resolution and individual channel isolation up to 1000 V differential. Typical conversion time is around 0.8 ms, with backplane current around 1.5 A and power dissipation near 7.9 W. The module installs in a single slot of a 1771 I/O chassis and uses the 1771-WH wiring arm for field wiring. Certified for ATEX and CE environments, the 1771-OFE1 is widely used in process control applications to drive VFDs, control valves, actuators, and other analog-controlled devices. As of March 2021, this model was discontinued and commonly replaced by 1771-OFE2, or by 1756-OF4 or 1769-OF4 in other Allen-Bradley control architectures. It is suited for retrofit or replacement of legacy analog output modules in PLC-5 systems.
