Allen-Bradley 1771-OFE1 Analog Output Module

Allen-Bradley 1771-OFE1 Analog Output Module is a four-channel analog output card for PLC-5 systems that converts digital control signals into analog voltage or current outputs. Packaged as a 1771 4AO CURRENT/VOLTAGE module, it’s designed to plug into any 1771 I/O chassis and is compatible with PLC-5 backplanes in chassis such as 1771-A1B, 1771-A2B, 1771-A3B, and 1771-A4B. Power is supplied by the 1771 I/O backplane from the chassis power supply, so no separate supply is required. On-module configuration via jumpers selects between voltage or current output and adjusts the intended ranges for each channel. Rockwell Automation notes that the 1771-OFE1 was discontinued as of March 4, 2021, and is no longer sold as a new item; it remains a legacy option for existing PLC-5 installations requiring four analog outputs.
