Allen-Bradley 1771-IXE Thermocouple Millivolt Input Module

Allen‑Bradley 1771-IXE Thermocouple/Millivolt Input Module is an eight‑channel analog input module for PLC‑5 systems that accepts thermocouple signals or millivolt signals directly on the 1771 I/O bus. Each of the eight inputs is a floating differential channel configured to read thermocouple types E, J, K, R, S, and T, or millivolt signals with a full‑scale range of ±99.99 mV. The IXE can be used in a 1771 I/O chassis to provide either thermocouple inputs or millivolt inputs depending on configuration, feeding temperature or millivolt readings to the PLC‑5 controller. This module is designed for industrial environments where direct thermocouple sensing is needed or where small millivolt signals must be captured for precise process monitoring.
