Description:
The Allen‑Bradley 1771‑IGD TTL Input Module is a 16-point TTL input card in the 1771 I/O family, designed to read TTL‑level signals from field devices and typically mounted in a rack with a 1771‑WH wiring arm. It accepts TTL inputs with a low threshold of 0 to 0.5 V and a high threshold of 2.7 to 5.25 V, and defines input currents of up to 7 mA source current for low levels (the connected device must sink this current) and up to 0.8 mA sink current for high levels, with input protection diodes to +5 V and ground. The IGD variant adds diode protection to +5 V and ground, while the 1771‑IG version employs a 1 ms input filter, reflecting the two TTL input approaches in the 1771 family.
