Allen-Bradley 1771-IFE is a 12-bit analog input module for PLC-5 systems that converts analog signals into a proportional 12-bit binary value for the processor. It supports up to 16 single-ended inputs or 8 differential inputs and plugs into a 1771 I/O chassis. The module accepts voltage and current input ranges and does not supply loop power to the field signals. This high-density analog input option is used to digitize multiple analog signals for monitoring and control within classic Allen-Bradley PLC-5 automation setups.
