Allen-Bradley 1771-IAN 8-Channel Analog Input Module

Allen-Bradley 1771-IAN is a PLC-5 analog input module with 32 input channels, arranged as four banks of eight, designed for use in PLC-5 control systems. It accepts 85–138V AC on each channel (nominally 120V AC) and draws a nominal 8.2 mA per channel at 115V AC, 60 Hz (6.8 mA at 115V AC, 50 Hz), with a maximum backplane current of 280 mA at 5V DC. The module uses wiring arm 1771-WN for field connections and is compatible with standard PLC-5 backplanes. This 32-channel input capability enables direct monitoring of multiple AC-powered process signals in industrial control panels and automation racks, making it suitable for applications where a large number of high-voltage AC sensor inputs must be centralized in a single I/O module.
