Allen-Bradley 1771-0BN DC Output Module

Allen-Bradley 1771-0BN DC Output Module (often listed as 1771-OBN) is a 32-point, high-true DC output module for PLC-5 1771 I/O racks that delivers four groups of eight 10–30 V DC outputs. Each output can source up to 0.5 A, with a maximum of 2 A per group and 8 A maximum for the full module, and the unit includes four 4 A, 250 V normal-blow fuses (one per group) with 1500 V AC RMS isolation between field circuits and the backplane. Timing characteristics include 2.0 ms On-to-Off and 0.1 ms Off-to-On propagation delays, with a per-output power rating of 0.75 W; backplane current is up to 330 mA at 5 V, and wiring accepts 14 AWG (2 mm2) conductors with 3/64 in insulation. Operating temperature ranges from 0 to 60 C, storage from -40 to 85 C, and humidity of 5–95% non-condensing. This module is used to drive DC loads such as relays and solenoids within PLC-5 I/O chassis when connected to 10–30 V loads.
