Allen-Bradley 1771-0AD AC Output Module is an eight-point output card for PLC-5 systems that switches 12–120 VAC loads from a PLC-5 controller. The eight outputs provide individual control for AC devices such as relays or contactors and mount in a 1771 I/O rack. Each output has a short-circuit capability of 4 A at 120 VAC for 8.3 ms (repeatable every 1 s), which is the standard rating published for 1771 AC output modules. This module is used in industrial automation to drive multiple AC loads from a PLC-5 system.
