Allen-Bradley 1770-SC Station Connector

The Allen-Bradley 1770-SC Station Connector is a legacy DH/DH+ network interface that bridges a dropline cable to a trunkline or links two trunklines, forming a node in Data Highway networks. It is installed at each network node to connect the dropline to the trunkline, enabling communication across devices on the shared data path. To maintain the station connector’s NEMA Type 13 protection, the unused trunkline cable clamp must be plugged on the first and last station connectors. This 1770-SC is commonly used with 1770-series data cables within Data Highway topologies to establish reliable trunkline-to-dropline transitions and to link trunklines end-to-end.
