Allen-Bradley 1770-KF2 Data Highway Communications Interface

Allen-Bradley 1770-KF2 Data Highway Communications Interface is a standalone gateway that links RS-232-C or RS-422-A asynchronous devices to an Allen-Bradley Data Highway or Data Highway Plus network. The KF2 provides a host-side COMPUTER ASYNCHRONOUS port and a DH+/Data Highway interface on the network side, with the Data Highway link implemented via a Phoenix-style three-position connector (Line 1, Line 2, Shield). Configuration is performed with the SW-1 switch group to select the desired communication option and routing, including choices between Data Highway and Peer Communication Link as needed. As a Series B KF2 module, it is designed to bridge legacy serial devices to a DH network.
