Allen-Bradley 1769-SDN is a one-channel DeviceNet Scanner module for the CompactLogix 1769 family. It provides a single DeviceNet network interface to connect DeviceNet peripherals—sensors, actuators, and remote I/O blocks—to a 1769 CompactLogix controller. The module plugs into a CompactLogix 1769 I/O rack and uses a 5-pin Phoenix connector for the DeviceNet line. As a legacy module, it is configured and monitored via Rockwell Automation software such as RSNetWorx for DeviceNet, delivering standard DeviceNet scanner functionality within the CompactLogix ecosystem.
