Allen-Bradley 1769-SDN Industrial Control Compact IO Module

The Allen-Bradley 1769-SDN is a DeviceNet scanner module that makes a Compact I/O rack act as a DeviceNet master on the field network, coordinating data exchange between the controller and connected DeviceNet devices. As a DeviceNet scanner, it can communicate with up to 63 DeviceNet devices and exposes I/O data through distinct input and output images that the host controller reads and writes via RSNetWorx/RSLogix configuration. The module includes a local display that shows its DeviceNet node number and provides diagnostic indicators to aid in setup and fault diagnosis. It is designed for use with 1769 Compact I/O backplanes and is compatible with CompactLogix controllers (and MicroLogix 1500-based setups) in appropriate configurations.
