The Allen-Bradley 1769-PA2 CompactLogix power supply delivers a dedicated 5 V DC at up to 2 A to the Compact I/O backplane, with a secondary 24 V DC rail capable of 0.8 A to support auxiliary loads on the same rack. AC input range is 85–265 VAC (47–63 Hz), enabling operation from standard regional mains. This power module is designed for use with Compact I/O racks in CompactLogix systems, such as L3x and L3y controllers, powering both the I/O backplane and providing a 24 V DC rail for nearby devices. Operating temperature ranges from 0 to 60 °C with storage from -40 to 85 °C, and it supports up to 95% relative humidity (non-condensing). In addition to the main 5 V rail, the 24 V DC output helps supply mixed I/O and peripheral loads within the same rack, making it a compact, centralized source for 1769 I/O modules.
