Allen-Bradley 1769-PA2 AC Power Supply For Compact IO Module

Allen-Bradley 1769-PA2 Compact I/O AC Power Supply is a DIN-rail mounted expansion power module for Compact I/O racks in CompactLogix systems. It accepts 85–265 VAC mains (47–63 Hz) and provides 5 VDC at up to 2 A to feed 1769 I/O modules, enabling power to as many as 16 I/O modules when installed in a rack with modules on either side of the supply. The 1769-PA2 supports DIN-rail mounting, with the 1769-PA2K variant offering panel-mount capability. Wiring uses 14 AWG solid copper conductors rated at 90°C or higher, with insulation up to 3/64 in. The unit carries North American temperature code T3C and IEC code T4, and it uses an open-style enclosure. This power supply is designed specifically to back up 1769 Compact I/O expansion modules, delivering a compact, local source of 5 V DC for backplane operation in CompactLogix installations.
