Allen-Bradley 1769-OW8 Compact IO Output Module

Allen-Bradley 1769-OW8 is an eight-point VAC/VDC relay output module for the Compact I/O family, designed to switch external loads under control of a CompactLogix controller. It provides eight isolated relay outputs capable of AC or DC switching, with IEC Class II reinforced insulation and a dielectric withstand of 1836 V AC for 1 second (AC) or 2596 V DC for 1 second (DC); the output-to-bus working voltage is 265 V AC. The module measures 118 x 35 x 87 mm and weighs about 280 g, and it can be mounted on a DIN rail or panel in a Compact I/O chassis. Power is supplied by a 1769 power supply (PA2/PA4 or PB2/PB4), with a power-distance rating of eight modules, and it uses a replaceable terminal block 1769-RTBN10 (plus replacement door/label kits 1769-RD and 1769-RL1). Typical applications include driving external relays, contactors, or other line-voltage devices from a PLC, and it remains compatible with CompactLogix controllers and remote I/O configurations via standard 1769 adapters.
