Allen-Bradley 1769-OW16 Compact IO Output Module

Allen-Bradley 1769-OW16 Rev 2 Compact I/O Relay Output Module provides 16 normally open relay outputs in two banks of eight for AC or DC field loads within a CompactLogix system. It supports 5–265 VAC or 5–125 VDC operation, with a maximum of 2.5 A per point and a total module rating of 20 A. Each output is isolated, and the module offers output point to bus isolation of up to 1836 V AC for 1 second, with group-to-group isolation also rated at 1836 V AC (2596 V DC for the same test). The hardware consumes up to 4.75 W and weighs about 450 g, with overall dimensions around 118 mm (H) × 52.5 mm (W) × 87 mm (D). The 1769-OW16 is designed for open-style installations and should be kept within an 8-module distance of the power supply. Operating temperature is 0 to 60 °C. Typical uses include switching field devices such as valves, solenoids, indicators, or other relays in a CompactLogix control environment, where two 8-point banks allow mixing loads while maintaining isolated, contact-based control for reliable direct-drive of AC or DC loads.
